Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Attesta's website, mobile application, and any other related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), whether or not you are a registered member of Attesta. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Services and you must discontinue use immediately.
These Terms govern your use of the Services and, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Attesta with respect to your use of the Services.
Account Registration
You may be required to register an account with Attesta to access certain features of the Services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
Attesta reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion.
Professional Verification
Attesta verifies professional registrations with relevant authorities (ICAI for CAs, Bar Council for Lawyers, COA for Architects). However, Attesta does not guarantee that all information provided by professionals is accurate, complete, or current. Professionals are responsible for maintaining their registration status and notifying Attesta of any changes.
The Attesta Verified Badge indicates that a professional's registration was verified at the time of badge issuance. Badges may be revoked if registration status changes or becomes inactive.
User Content
The Services may allow you to submit reviews, comments, and other content. You retain all rights to, and are solely responsible for, the content you submit. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
Attesta reserves the right to remove or edit any content for any reason, including content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
Intellectual Property
The Services and all content therein, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, and software, are the property of Attesta or its content suppliers and are protected by Indian and international copyright laws.
You are granted a limited license to access and use the Services and to download or print a copy of any portion of the content to which you have properly gained access solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ATTESTA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
ATTESTA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ATTESTA, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF ATTESTA, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ATTESTA OR FIVE HUNDRED RUPEES (₹500).
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
Changes to Terms
Attesta reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please discontinue using the Services.
